Hmm. That's one way to phrase it, I guess..though it makes it sound...more transparent than it is? Like layered lace, rather than...satin or velvet.

I guess it is rather emo- but the fact remains that friends = trust. Trust may not become 'good', depending on your PoV, but it is still trust. That's the irony I was after. Plus the whole sweet=youth thing. *shrug*
